Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is also an English language pro-science test which is conducted to test and analyze how well the non-native English speakers are able to communicate. TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language; it is developed and conducted by Educational Testing Service (ETS). TOEFL is accepted by many English speaking academic universities and professional institutions. Most of the universities and institutions in the US and Canada require TOEFL score for enrolling a non-native English speaker in their academic year. Test Format and Structure
The TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT) tests all four language skills that are important for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The structure of the TOEFL iBT is as follows:
